A big week for this young lady...She turned 8, had a party, and today made her First Holy Communion!

Zoom lenses are the answer!

 

I have been struggling for a long time with the challenge of getting a natural smile out of the older girls.....the secret seems to be to use a very strong zoom lens and sneak upon them unawares.......

I planted these, but now can't for the life of me remember what they are. Sweet little things, though....

Except I have an outfit with two different lenses....I've got the 28-80mm f/3.3-5.6 and the 70-300mm f/4-5.6.

I've been playing with the basic 28-80 today, I look forward to playing with that big ol' zoom soon!
